Rotary District 1060 Conference at Plymouth, October 2001

The Annual District Conference of Rotary District 1060 (centred on Birmingham) took place at Plymouth, Friday 26th-Sunday 28th October.

Friday evening included a reception in the Plymouth Pavillions in a hall with space for line-dancing and a complete fairground dodgem track. Kenilworth entered the fancy dress representing the theme ‘on the move’with the Two Castles Run.

Saturday and Sunday mornings were devoted to Conference sessions, including presentations by special guest speakers, Gervaise Phinn and Terry Waite.

Saturday evening was a costume ball.
