The Rotary Club of Kenilworth honoured Mrs Ann Rixon with the Rotary Citizen of the Year Award. Over a forty year span, Kenilworth Citizen Ann Rixon and her husband James have fostered over 160 children, adopting 6 children to bring up as their own family. Today, in her seventies, Ann is still working with young children as a regular nursery assistant at the St Nicholas Castle Nursery School.
