Dictionaries

The Rotary Club of Kenilworth presented a dictionary to every Year Six pupil in every school in the town.Three hundred and sixty nine children benefited from the gift. This was made possible by Rotary International organising a mass order for the dictionaries so that local clubs could purchase them using funds raised for charity. This is a way of saying ‘thank you’ to the people of Kenilworth for supporting Rotary fund-raising activities such as The Two Castles Run, The Grocery Grab, The Art Exhibition, The Tree of Light, The Kenilworth Festival.
The photographs below were taken at Clinton School with Headmistress Mrs Bates, as Rotary President Colin Sallis accompanied past President Bernard Beadle back to the school where Bernard was the first headmaster from 1963 to 1984.
