Rotary Foundation Link Weekend

On Friday 26th September 84 young people descended on District 1060. Each had been awarded a scholarship from Rotary Foundation to further their studies in the UK.
The Rotary Club of Kenilworth hosted 4 students Lindsay Terrell from USA studying at the University of Edinburgh, Caroline Keicher also from USA studying at De Montfort University Leicester, Lisa Simon is at University College London and Julia is at Exeter University.
Their time spent with their hosts Joy and Philip Southwell was limited but they enjoyed an evening meal on Friday with Colin and Judith Sallis helping with the conversation and a very quick tour of Warwick before returning to Birmingham and the programme organised for all the scholars.
Because their stay with Joy and Philip was short they have been invited back again before they return home so that they can all meet up again and enjoy more Kenilworth Rotary hospitality.
