A record number of over 1,700 runners registered for the Two Castles Run on Sunday, 6th June, 2004, of whom 1,500 ran and finished.

The outright winner was Hywel Davies of Rugby & Northants Athletics Club in 34 mins 38 seconds.
The first Lady across the line was Zara Hyde Peters of Coventry Godiva in 37 mins 49 seconds.
The first Junior to finish the run was Ryan Kenney in 36mins 26 seconds. 
The last finisher made it
across the line in 1 hour 40 mins 59 seconds.
The Oldest runner taking part was Michael Browne, aged 73.

 Awards were presented by the Mayor of Kenilworth, with thanks to all concerned being expressed by the President of the Rotary Club of Kenilworth, Philip Southwell.

The 22nd 10k Two Castles Run from Warwick Castle to Kenilworth Castle was on Sunday 6th June 2004 at 9.00 am. (The earlier time is to accommodate more runners.)
Applications should be made by post to arrive on or before 24th May. On May 10th, 1400 runners had already registered, which is three times the applications by this date last year.
THE LIST WILL CLOSE WHEN THE TOTAL REACHES 1800.
