A record number of over 1,700 runners registered for the Two Castles Run on Sunday, 6th June, 2004, of whom 1,500 ran and finished. The outright winner was Hywel Davies of Rugby & Northants Athletics Club in 34 mins 38 seconds. Awards were presented by the Mayor of Kenilworth, with thanks to all concerned being expressed by the President of the Rotary Club of Kenilworth, Philip Southwell.
