The twenty sixth Two Castles Run took place on Sunday June 8th 2008, from St Nicholas Park, Warwick, in the shadow of Warwick Castle, at 9.00 am, ending in Kenilworth Castle. The first runner finished just after 9.34 am. The race entry was closed with 2,505 entries, of whom 2, 132 ran and were recorded at the finish. The outright winner was Richard Harper of Leamington C&AC in a time of 34 minutes 1 second a full minute and a half in front of the rest of the field.

The Two Castles Run closed its list with a full entry of 2505 runners. The Run involved 104 marshals, 40 organising the finish in Kenilworth Castle, with the Guides manning water stations and the Scouts providing general help. The St John Ambulance provided 2 ambulances and accompanying paramedics. There are 200 crowd control barriers, 4 buses to ferry runners back to Warwick, 3 large vans to transport kit, 10,000 printed sheets for the runners applications and instructions on the day, 400 letters to residents affected by road closures around the castle. With the help of many other local organisations and the police, Kenilworth Rotary is able to stage an event which last year raised in excess of £50,000 for charity.
Acknowledgement of race entry was posted on the event website www.jand.co.uk. Race Packs were dispatched on 17 May 2008 including running number and electronic chips.
