The Easter Grocery Grab 2006 was won by an anonymous donor who assigned the prize to the Helen Ley Home.

The Grocery Grab was attended by:

Helen Ley Manager: Iris Durney,

Helen Ley Catering Supervisor: Rose Matthews,

and Michaela Lisle-Fenwick of the Catering Department, who did the dash.

Here they pose with Rotary Club of Kenilworth President, Maurice Holden and President-Elect, Philip Highley.

Michaela began her dash by concentrating on the meat for the Helen Ley residents:

Selecting some choice cuts.

Pausing perhaps to long to make the right choice...

She’s off to make up time.

Will she make it?

Time’s up. Relax!

Hooray!

The goods are as just as the kitchen at Helen Ley Home desires, but the total comes to only £193.02.

Rules are rules! The winner gets what they grab in two minutes up to £250. The rest goes to charity...

President Maurice Holden pays for the goods ...

... and denotes the remainder to charity
... to Helen Ley, of course!

What will they do with all these beans?

Helen Ley walks off with the winnings!
