President’s Night May 21st 2007
President’s Night is usually a time for the President to relax and enjoy the highlight of his year, but President Phil Highley is no ordinary Rotary President; he sees it as his duty to provide entertainment for the club shared with his friends from The Talisman Palace of Varieties, the Kenilworth Rotary Barbershop Singers, and, of course, with full audience participation.

President Phil Highley relaxes as District Governor Elect David Butler and his wife support him on the left and his lady, Kay Prentice and Dr Backhouse sit with him on the right.
The Talisman Palace of Varieties performs for the assembled throng.

The Master of Ceremonies introduces the show.

Shirley Gardener sings ‘We’ll Gather Lilacs’

Phil Highley delivers his monologue on the Battle of Trafalgar.

And the evening closes with the Kenilworth Rotary Barbershop Singers performing ‘Good night ladies’.
